The Democrat Double Standard on "Settling Our Differences".
If as one Dem put it, "We settle our differences at the ballot box. We don't have coups and we don't have riots,"
Oh really? Then what was the 4 years of rioting, looting, and arson by ANTIFA and BLM all about? Democrats kept saying that was a legit way to solve their differences with the president.
So does that mean if we want to settle our differences with President Puddinhead, we should do 5 or 6 billion dollars worth of damage to American cities? Dems would probably applaud that as it would give them an excuse to roll in the troops and toss the Constitution. Look at how they over-reacted to the January 6 protest, calling it insurrection and the worst thing since the Civil War. You'd be forgiven for thinking they were kidding, but you'd be wrong. Like spoiled kids the howling and foot-stomping has been a sight to behold.
The only thing about a conservative set of riots is, (1) it would be better organized and (2) conservatives would likely do damage to Democrat cities rather than to their own. When a child throws a tantrum, he tends to destroy his own things. When someone seeks redress of grievances against an oppressor, he tends to go after his oppressor and his things. As I remember, one of the things ancient Israel's laws prohibited was doing damage to yourself as part of worshiping the various pagan gods. It strikes me as significant that when a Democrat is angry he seems to destroy his own communities and his own fellows.
That's kind of a familiar political move in history - in fact quite an ancient one. Every time the devil makes a move to make himself the Prince of this World, he starts with rioting, violence and bloodshed, then proceeds to gather fighters to whip the populace into shape, and appoints one of his more cruel minions as king, emperor, pharaoh, Czar, Tsar, Caesar, President or potentate who proceeds to drive the nation to ruin.
It happens every time. We saw it in the kingdoms and empires of Europe where rule by privileged elites, nobles, kings and princes enslaved the proletariat (Karl Marx's word for peasants, peons or the masses). The rise of the United States opened a window that for a time allowed brought about the end of slavery (at least in the West). The old devil has tried mightily over the past 200 years to restore the rule of tyrants and succeeded at the cost of hundreds of millions of people slaughtered in the name of some promised utopia for all. All anyone ever got was shared misery and death.
The devil's argument was always that free will was too dangerous a thing and that people should be ruled by a superior creature (namely himself). The rise of Nazism, Communism and other collectivist totalitarian socialist states is nothing more than Satan's effort to make himself the ruler of all and to take the place of God.
The good news? It ain't gonna succeed. When you see these things, when knowledge shall be increased and men shall run to and fro, and when it becomes evident that our adversary is growing ever more frantic in his efforts to by force mold this world into his own image, then know that time is very short and we can look to the coming of Christ. Never forget. It will be a rescue mission, not a conquest. It will leave the world in ruin for a thousand years. And I, for one, believe that those who remain will destroy themselves. They have a pattern and for the first time in human history, they have the weapons with which to turn the Earth into a blackened husk.
Even so, come Lord Jesus.

Has a High Tech Virtual Invasion of Poland Begun?
In another wave of attacks on conservatives, Youtube is blocking and/or demonetizing conservative video producers en masse. I started this rant on Facebook, but decided to move it over to my blog to avoid its being banished to virtual hell by Zuckerberg's Gestapo. I'm not sure, but we may be seeing a fully mobilized, concerted attack on conservative voices beginning in earnest. Here's what's happening.
Despite earlier ruling that Steven Crowder met YouTube guidelines, the Google subsidiary, YouTube, has demonetized his videos en masse, effectively cutting off a major portion of his income in an obvious effort to silence his voice. Meanwhile poisonous leftist sites guilty of doxing, harassment, obscenity and outright lying remain firmly in place on the video host site. Other less-careful, less litigious conservative pundits than Crowder are being outright banned in this latest pogrom of pro-Constitution, pro-conservative websites. Massive numbers of Prager University's tasteful and factually correct videos have been demonetized and I expect another anti-conservative pogrom against PU in the next few days.
We should oblige them.
As the last events unfold, remember that Christ's coming is not a conquest, but a rescue. When the good folk who trust in Him or would have if they'd ever met Him are taken up and go, this world will destroy itself in an orgasm of violence and turn itself into a lake of fire. We have the technology to do just that and when God withdraws from this Earth, there will be nothing to hold back the horrors mankind can inflict upon itself.
The wages of sin is death and I really believe that is literally so. I believe sin is self-destructive and inevitably suicidal. I believe we will make our own hell. I don't think God need lift a finger to obliterate evil men from the Earth. All He need do is step back to see the Earth cleansed by radioactive fire!
That may seem a little extreme to extrapolate from a YouTube ban on what it calls "hate speech" to the bloody end of the world. But then a few German tanks rolling into Austria, Poland, and Czechoslovakia didn't seem at the time to presage anything like the holocaust and the bloody conflict that would cost half a billion lives and plunge the world into horrors unimagined by the free world in 1939. Nor did it predict that in the aftermath of a World War, Communism would rise up on its hind legs and slaughter hundreds of millions more.
And I know I sound all paranoid, but I grew up in the 20th century. I know the horrors that can be inflicted on us by those who think they need to control us ordinary schlubs "for our own good". We have raised up a new generation that, as Moses put it, "...knew not Joseph". Sadly, they will soon know what happens to them when the Josephs of the world are all dead or silenced.
In the meantime, I and millions of others are watchmen on the walls. We cannot be silent.

"Victims" Who Bully
![]() |
If you watch this it looks more like wincing than smirking. |
His biggest crime? He wore a "Make America Great Again" hat while doing it. His second "crime" was he didn't frown, didn't back away and wore (gasp) a smirky teenaged kid smile. Better yet, Nathan Phillips, the Native America Vietnam Veteran and former director of the Native Youth Alliance who banged the drum in the Catholic schoolboy's face gave a nice interview in which he lamented the idea of a border wall; said that Native Americans had never needed a wall and shed one of those single tears like that fake Indian in the anti-littering TV commercial back in the 60s.
The poor boy was the perfect target. The only thing the gang of thugs who backed up Mr. Phillips were there to do was to egg things on. The fact that you can hear on the tape several of the boys saying, "I don't understand what's going on." Obviously the kids didn't realize that they were being set up for a video taped incident.
As someone who worked for years with boys, I probably view this video from a rather different perspective from that of communist, lesbian, feminist, Democrat, journalist, social justice warriors. As such, I will likely draw some ire from that class of folk. Also, I have probably have ruined any chance I might have to serve on the Supreme court simply by writing this weblog.
The most troubling thing about things like this is the inexorable slide the culture is taking toward a kind of mob rule/tribalism it represents. Such a culture, such a government tends to use bullying, lies, intimidation, shaming and punishment to enforce it's collective will on anyone who is not a member of the perceived majority. It is antithetical to the American way of life as it has been preserved for more than a quarter of a millennium. The US Constitution was brilliantly designed to push us to be better than we were then and in the future to be better than we are now. It forced an end to slavery, the emancipation of women and acceptance of the minority populations who came to join us and the embracing of our differences.
We are going backwards. Political correctness, media control, public shaming and the slide toward collectivism takes us back to a medieval feudal style culture with an elite ruling class and a homogeneous proletariat who all think alike, act the same way and dare not believe differently from the herd.
Almost time to go home.

Resisting the New Normal
![]() |
The New Normal? |
Yes, the US Immigration and Naturalization Service removes children from adult detention facilities and places them in Dept. of Human Services facilities while their parents, who have committed a crime by crossing the border illegally are being processed. Contrary to the narrative progressives are promoting, there are not a lot of "Family Jail Cells" at the INS where families can be kept together. Adult Illegal aliens are kept in what facilities there are while names are checked. This is a difficult process because undocumented aliens are, well, UNDOCUMENTED.
I know that sounds harsh, but when you've seen fresh-faced kids come to town on buses with a piece of paper inviting them to come to the gay bars of the big cities, I have a hard time not doubting the motivation of the folk trying to "normalize" deviant sexual practices. There are, after all, only about 3% of Americans who embrace alternative sexual lifestyles. They must have a hard time finding partners. I sometimes wonder if the drive to encourage "alternative" gender identification in impressionable children is more about trying to grow the numbers of young sex partners than it is about protecting children from bullying.
Thank God that He loves us and saves us from our sins. It's the last bit of hope in a world that devil wants to be as confusing and contradictory as possible. As an old rock song once opined, "Satan is my name. Confusion is my game." Look, if abused little girls can find peace after what they've gone through, so can other victims of sexual perversions. I've seen the horrific damage done to women in their childhoods and watched the heart-breaking struggle they go through to find peace and recovery. So why by all that's holy do we deny that healing and peace to those who are the victim of other forms of deviant sexual bullying?
Just sayin'.

The Left Continues to Ramp Up Its Frantic Attacks on Ride Share Companies
These new ride-sharing services having expanded rapidly, capturing a consumer market long ignored. It is a market transit has been trying to figure out for a long time. In some parts of the country, especially in rural areas with aging populations, up to 20% of citizens over the age of 16 cannot drive a car or do not have access to one. It's too expensive to run buses around to pick them up. Most live too far from bus routes for that to be a viable option. What Uber and Lyft have done is create a clever way for regular folk to make a little money hauling their neighbors who cannot drive around on errands they cannot accomplish with fixed public transit systems.
I'm one of those customers Uber was designed for. Without them I'm left with unaffordable, often unpleasant choices for purchasing transportation services. So, of course the left wants to take Uber down. They are hoping to force people to move into town next to bus lines. You think I'm kidding? I've sat in on the meetings and that's precisely the goal.

They're Breaking Up That Old Gang of Mine
I just spent an unpleasant hour listening to Stefan Molyneux and a guy who calls himself Vox Day explaining what the alt-right movement is all about. Apparently the term "cuckservative" originates with Mr. Day and loosely means "race traitor". The alt-right movement claims it's better that people stay in their own cultural enclaves - the nations that bred them in other words. They further claim that the US is a white, Anglo-Saxon Protestant nation and it's time we should make it that again. So now we have the Republican Party broken up into Trump minions, alt-right race loyalists, neo-cons, country club Republicans, Tea Party folk and a confused bunch of the rest of us who believe in the Constitution, free markets, small government and every one of the Bill of Rights.
There is an old military tactic known as "divide and conquer" that seems to be the primary strategy being used against the conservative community. Together people who identify themselves as conservatives make up 65% or better of voting Americans. Together we are a terrible roadblock to the conquest of America by progressives. Separated and fractured into factions, we're relatively harmless.
Ironically, progressives, those advocates of multi-culturalism and promoters of non-assimilation have used the very techniques they use to create "voter groups" against Republicans and conservatives. Sadly, they have a lot of help from us in doing it. Apparently conservatives are more than willing to help out.
At any rate, I've never seen good-hearted well meaning Americans so divided in my lifetime. I've read about it in history books. It never ends well for nations that have a divided populace.
Somehow we need to find common ground for all of us. We're more Americans than we are anything else if you get right down to it, but thanks to the media, entertainment industry and the political jabbering class, we've been convinced to huddle up in our own little homogeneous groups.
It's not easy to hold a nation together when it divides itself into narrow ideologies and political ghettos. Create those divisions along cultural and racial lines and it's even worse. We've got to cut that out or the America we know is going to be taken from us by a smug set of conquerors, who have figured out the Achilles heel in the American melting pot. Ironically, it's the same thing that is our strength - our differences.

Fox News and the Liberal Agenda
![]() |
Fox News' Megyn Kelly - The Left's Enemy #1 |
It's what Megyn Kelly did to Trump and that pompous, self-important windbag deserved everything he got in my opinion. But honest questions come at a cost, especially when you are up against a well-funded liberal propaganda machine.
The recent so-called "conservative" backlash against Fox is being orchestrated by left wing operatives following Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals to the letter.
- Pick the target - Fox News the only news media outlet that is not openly anti-conservative.
- Freeze it - Sew doubt and mistrust among supporters
- Personalize it - Pick on Megyn Kelly
- Polarize it - Get lots of divisive hate speech going among your enemies (conservatives)
By "fixing, freezing, personalizing and polarizing, the Media Matters, Young Turks and other Soros-funded operatives are attempting to turn conservatives against Fox News (the only real support they have from major news media). In doings so, they hope Fox News will be fickle and become more sympathetic with liberals and perhaps even come over to their side. And they've salted conservative dialogue with clever sniping and false accusations in order to undercut Fox News' influence as much as possible and reduce their viewership.
Fox right now beats out every other mainstream media including the vaunted CNN and NBC. George Soros and his operatives hate that. They want nothing less than to cut Fox down to size and reduce it's influence on mainstream Americans (who prefer Fox by huge numbers). The pitiful thing is that low-information conservatives are falling for it.
Please don't!
I'm just sayin'.

Greedy Nonprofits? The Campaign to get "Big Charity"
Of course, big is always bad in Rainbow Unicorn Land where the folk who fancy themselves the non-one percenters dwell. The chart above is circulating the Internet and it's absolutely full of crap. It targets charity powerhouses like the Red Cross, Goodwill and March of Dimes.
It seems there is a concerted effort going on to take down some of the bigger charities like the Red Cross and United Way and especially Goodwill. Notice they don't mention the Sierra Club, World Wildlife Federation, Greenpeace or Harvard University - notable lefty favorites whose directors aren't exactly struggling to make ends meet. It's all a huge scam designed to distort the record and "take down" what the people who go around spouting about Big Oil and Big Pharma and Big Ag think is another "Big" conspiracy against the little guys. And it's another load of BS. Truth is that these guys they are attacking are essential help for the little guys and without them a lot of little guys would be in a very bad way.
Take MARCH of Dimes, which they claim doesn't give the money to "the needy". March of Dimes has never given money to the needy. They never pretended to. March of Dimes donations go to research to prevent birth defects and premature births. And yes, Virginia, the physicians and scientist who are paid to do this research do get paid more than $13,0000.
These clowns that are trying to take down "Big Charity" are largely progressive socialists and, of course, they would rather you abort the "fetus" and simply try again later. They certainly would object to wasting money on trying to actually save babies and prevent birth defects and stillbirths.
United Way helps primarily small local charities which address local issues. United Way provides valuable fund-raising support for charities who can't afford a big development department and would rather do the work than spend half their time throwing golf tournaments and garage sales. I've worked with United Way and they really do provide essential support for small charities. Without UW, many smaller targeted charities simply couldn't exist. AND They can do this BECAUSE THEY ARE SO DAMNED BIG.
Goodwill helps people with developmental disabilities to have a job and earn their own money so they are not totally dependent on an allowance from their moms or from state programs. The do VERY good work. It's true their "employees" don't make a living wage. That's because most are on disability and can't afford to make even a tiny bit too much or they lose their government support. Most have serious developmental problems and could hold no other job in a competitive business. If they work hard they make better pay depending on their ability in many Goodwill run workshops and industries. This allows them to pay for recreation, personal things and other "extras" beyond the subsistence level income and support they get from Uncle Sam and the state. And their so-called "facts" about Goodwill are very badly distorted.
The fact that a nonprofit CEO doesn't take a salary or that 100% of your donations go to this or that "program doesn't mean some donor isn't paying someone a salary to manage the program. Even six figure CEOs of nonprofits are very likely to receive a salary rather lower than what a CEO in the private sector would get to manage a company of the same side. And most receive WAY below what a government bureaucrat gets paid by taxpayers for the same job or one with far less responsibility - that is if anyone in government civil service ever is held responsible for anything they do.
Scripture says, "The laborer is worthy of his hire." Not every nonprofit CEO is a trust fund baby and can write off a salary or take some ridiculously low paycheck. The Red Cross president is managing a company with an annual budget in the hundreds of millions. She makes that happen year after year and the Red Cross gets a lot more bang for the buck out of her salary than some of the "good charities" listed below do, though all of them might be quite good charities themselves and do lots of good..
And some of the ones with ridiculously low CEO salaries or guarantees that 100% of your donation goes to programs simply set up the books so that admin costs are covered by an endowment or a generous donor. Their people get paid.
St. Jude's staff, for instance, do get paid, don't kid yourself and paid well. They live off an endowment for admin costs that Danny Thomas raised for them years ago. AND the docs' and nurses' paychecks are actually, part of what your donations go toward. So they can say with all honest that 100% of YOUR donations go to "fight childhood cancer". They don't say 100% of everyone's donation does. There's nothing wrong with that. They are simply creating a donation path where you can pay what you want to and screw those nasty old administrators.
Many CEOs that receive $0 paychecks are figureheads only (so they can say they don't get paid and the real work gets done by underlings). Some CEOs are paid by other entities and serve as head of a charity as well. Many have relatively little to do, but it looks good that they don't get paid. Some CEOs are retired rich guys (one percenters - the kind the president wants to take all their money from to make things "equitable").
This list is really deceptive and should not be trusted. The only way to find out if a charity is a good one is to get involved with it and find out if they do good work or not.
Just sayin' (and I have 4 decades' experience in the nonprofit sector).
