The Problem with Conspiracies

What do I mean "accidentally" cooperating. Is there some organization to progressive plans to take over the United States?  Well, yes. I personally hink it's the Democrat party in cahoots with government spy and law enforcement agencies trying to organize it all. They aren't the only culprits by any means and note that I say "trying" to organize. But is it all part of a vast Skull and Bones, Star Chamber, Illuminati, Bilderberg, Bohemian Grove, Freemason, Protocols of the Elders of Zion conspiracy to which resistance is futile?

No I don't think so.
Satan would love for us to believe that everything that happens is a result of powerful invisible human forces. Such powerful entities might ignore us if we stay quiet and small. If disasters and random terrorism does not require a vast plot, then such things might be random, unpredictable and might kill you no matter how innocuous we try to be.

But vast organized conspiracies would require millions of minions, all ready to submit their wills to some all powerful leader. That's harder to do and again, it means convincing millions to keep secrets, to do horrible things on command and to sacrifice their own lives if ordered to. Keeping such a vast organization secret isn't easy. Hitler and Mussolini couldn't do it. Stalin couldn't do it, Mao couldn't do it. Pol Pot couldn't do it and so on and so on.

Instead, at least in the early stages of the necessary "revolution," you have to sell an ideology - something that seems to make sense like Marxist statism. It's such a compelling idea and it's been successfully sold to generations of youth, despite the fact that the idea has never worked in practice. This has been done in the years since World War II in university and within the popular culture. It's been done by creating a messiah martyr in John F. Kennedy to whom, once he was safely dead, could be ascribed high socialist ideals. It was launched by the Apostle Lyndon (LBJ) who followed him and created The Great Society welfare state which effectively undermined the Civil Rights Bill and found another way to keep folk on the Democrat/Progressive plantation.

Devotees of progressivism all want to create a powerful government structure to force the new human created Utopia by law and by law enforcement. The trouble is and has always been that once the power structure is in place to do this, it attracts corruptible people like a magnet. The way Satan works it is by appealing to large groups of people's self-centered lust for power. This gets them all moving in the same direction giving the appearance that it's more organized than it really is. The fact that there are so many evil agencies indicates just how poor the actual organization of vast right or left wing conspiracies is.

Universities are selling Marxism as the "in" thing so practically everybody who is a member of our educated elite is doing the same Marxists things they were told by their professors that would give us a socialist Utopia - made by man without all that pesky traditional religion. It may look like they are all part of some mighty plot. It looks like a vast conspiracy because they are all using the same tools, riding the same horses, and singing the same songs.

Instead, like a runaway buffalo herd, they're all being run off the same cliff, spooked by loud noises behind them and led by the biggest bulls in front of them. It will not end well. Movement stimulated by fear seldom ends up where we hoped it would in our panic and terror."Ten years and global warming will kill us all," for just one instance. The use of such fear-based whips to steer the herd is moving us toward the tipping point at which progressivism's triumph is inevitable, the cliff if you will, over which we will all irrevocably plunge once more into Marx's often-failed, never successful worker's paradise.

Satan's favorite tool is chaos. The chaos is obvious when you look closely. It scares the crap out of people to think that a handful of terrorists can bring down a building and kill 3000 people, so they need it to be some powerful conspiracy. An election defies expectations so it seems like massively organized fraud, when it's much more likely that fraud took place because local groups all wanted to help turn the election. Some found ways to crudely throw big blocks of votes into the boxes, foreign governments helped where they could and it happened. It wasn't like any one over-arching conspiracy controlled it all. That way you can search for an organized conspiracy all you want to and not find one. Nobody gave the order. It's just that they all want the same reward, so they all work together from a shared desire, for progressivism to win and for all opponents to fall before its inevitable march to the future. What is created is moveable, directable chaos.

That doesn't mean leftists, frantic to win one for the team, didn't do all they could to try to affect the election, for instance. The shared outcome goal of a full socialist takeover of the US Government is a powerful incentive for rabid progressive socialists to contribute their personal efforts to Barak Obama's goal of "fundamental change". Because the groups involved were working individually, often using the same tactics, you get the effect of a conspiracy without the centralized organizational traces. That's how guerrilla groups and terrorist cells are organized - each acting but without any discoverable links between them. And every terrorist, Antifa, BLM, Black Panther, and terrorist cell firmly believes that when the revolution comes, they will be members of the ruling elite, their efforts recognized by whatever dear leaders manage to claw their way to the top. This, despite evidence that socialist regimes tend to shoot the more fanatic of their foot soldiers precisely because they aspire to join the ranks of the leader class. Remember "The Night of the Long Knives."

In fact, because the "conspiracy" is actually quite fragmented, you could run an investigation of the thing for years and not find any smoking guns or evidence for a central authority behind all this apparently conspiratorial activity. If the past proves useful it is in that it provides all the evidence you need of how these same ideologies turn out when put into practice (if you bother to read actual history and not the Marxist pablum university professors like Howard Zinn in his severely distorted People's History put out). FDR and Woodrow Wilson and their cronies loved Stalin, Lenin, Hitler and Mussolini back in the day. Socialism was going to be the cure for all our troubles. They were in fact, practically a mutual admiration society. Subscribers to HG Wells, George Bernard Shaw and Woodrow Wilson's shared a vision of a "scientifically" designed new world order. It might have actually brought the world to its end much sooner, except as pointed out above by me, there is always a bloody scramble to sit in the emperor's chair eventually. The progressive dream turned out badly for some half a billion people before the great wars and pogroms of the 20th century were done.

That bloody payday gets forgotten, often deliberately. It is especially so, when leftists are busily implementing that old Communist/Facist playbook step by step all over again right down to the disarming of the populace, seizure of private industry, medical care, and law enforcement and the management of it all from a powerful central government. Every method of controlling people must be raked up in the coffers of our betters among the leader class. They've taken the theories of Darwin, Marx, Hegel, BF Skinner, Lyotard, Maslow, Francis Galton and HG Wells and poured it all into a watered down bowl of progressive soup and propose to force the proletariat to drink from it and be glad they've got that much.

Frank Herbert once said:

It is the fatal flaw in all plans for a human designed perfect world. People of great intellect are especially vulnerable to the progressive idea. Even Albert Einstein pondered in an essay that there ought to be some way for smart people to create a society where everyone's needs are met, where peace is required and enforced and where the best aspirations of man are free to be realized. What Albert failed to account for was what a science fiction author like Frank Herbert clearly saw. There are in this world corruptible persons - unconverted hearts who serve themselves above all, and you can count on such evil people to mess things up.

As it turns out the only possible "paradise" is one peopled by individuals, each believing he or she should treat others as they would be treated and relying on the power of God to write that principal upon their hearts. Nothing else works. We keep looking for happiness without God, but as CS Lewis pointed out, such a happiness does not exist. We are not made that way. Satan told Eve we would be like gods. All we had to do was disobey a little. Don't we see just that same lie in the promises of the progressive ideology? Still we plunge headlong toward what must inevitably be a disaster. It's not like our prophets and messengers haven't seen it coming.

How Well is Sweden's CoVid-19 Strategy Working?

Turns out the curve is headed into low-Earth orbit!

The supposed Swedish herd immunity model has been touted lately as the way to go for the good old USA. Good old conspiracy theorists say it's best to go ahead and let everyone get it right away. Okay, I'm sorry but the "let everyone who's gonna die, go ahead and die" strategy doesn't much appeal to me - a 66 year-old diabetic with vicious arthritis. What's the advantage in that?  Decrease the surplus population?  How very Dickensian! I thought they said Obamacare wasn't going to do death panels. The herd immunity strategy doesn't work too well for those of us in the kill zone.

Meanwhile, the Swedish government flatly denies they are pushing any sort of herd immunity coronavirus strategy. I'm not sure they even have a coronavirus strategy. Perhaps they are hoping to wipe out some of those immigrant ghetto "no go" zones their police like to stay out of. I suppose if you want to thin out the immigrants, the infirm and the old people, it would certainly make national healthcare more affordable for the Swedish taxpayers who are left alive.

As it turns out, despite all the crowing by the media and assorted conspiracy theorists (most of whom are young and healthy and not likely to die from the virus), things are not going well in Sweden.
So far their mortality rate is up around 12%*. That works out to be  4 times the worst predicted death rate in the USA. Per capita they have a whole lot more infections than the United States. Sweden is now the sixth worst hit nation on the planet so far. Interestingly all of the worst hit places (per capita) are in Western Europe except for China which is shaving their death totals quite shamelessly and probably have far more fatalities than they are admitting. Of course, since China has eased off the two child maximum laws, they are now facing a glut of old people, sick people and disabled people, which by sheer coincidence are the favorite targets for CoVid-19. I'm not saying they are deliberately killing people who are no longer useful, but even socialist here are saying never to "let a crisis go to waste".

Hooray for socialized medicine!

I'm just saying

Explain To Me How Your Inconvenience Is More Important Than My Life

I had someone this week tell me that, "Well, they were only originally predicting 200,000
deaths and that even without the self-quarantines and other 'extreme' measures, some are saying the death numbers would have been about the same either way." The theory being that we were all exposed before the flu manifested itself in China. My friend further speculated that the shut down did nothing to minimize the spread of this flu. According to the latest conspiracy theory, most of us were exposed in October and November of 2019. And my friend further argued that there is one study that shows the main exposure & sickness happens in households when families stay inside for longer periods of time. In other words, if you stay home you are more likely to get sick.
At this point I take a deep breath before refusing to bow before hindsight looking for something to bitch about.  Let me take this argument point by point.

  1. The 200,000 deaths number is appalling anyway you look at it. And that number was suggested before doctors discovered that this particular virus made you contagious up to two weeks BEFORE you even knew you had it. So you're running around like individual CoVid-19 Marys infecting everyone you know and quite a few folks you don't know. After this was known estimates jumped into the millions of deaths without some kind of drastic measures being taken. After the travel ban and self-quarantines were initiated, the rate of infection slowed dramatically.
  2. The argument that we all had the flu in October and November is a purely agenda-based conspiracy theory passed around by people with cabin fever. That the flu was loose in the US that early is really wild speculation. A lot of folks had flu last fall and not coincidentally after taking this year's flu vaccine. We were warned it might make us sick and it did. A friend told me that after this year's flu shots in Texas prisons, a lot of the inmates had mild to moderate cases of the flu. My wife and I both had flu-like symptoms after we took the flu shot before flying to Texas. Sometimes the vaccine gives you a mild to moderate case of flu depending on how strong the flu virus it's designed to fight. There's even been some anecdotal evidence that this year's vaccine helped protect some people from a mild exposure to CoVid-19. Thinking that we should have done nothing to address such a very virulent virus strain is taking risks with a lot of lives and I believe is irresponsible to suggest..
  3. If you think because you are young and healthy and not in the virus's kill zone, that you're hurting no one but yourself if you catch it, you are truly delusional. It's like the anti-vaccine folks who say, if your kid has taken the vaccines, why should you worry if my kid catches it? What they don't take into account is that every time an epidemic goes through the human population, it mutates and becomes something a little different. Does anyone want to play revolving vaccines with smallpox, diptheria, measles, mumps or rubella? Do we really want to expose pregnant women to the measles outbreak among the unvaccinated rich Democrats, conspiracy theorists and illegal aliens?  My baby brother Craig died because we gave Mom the measles while she was pregnant with him. I don't want to see the annual death tolls from infectious deceptively named "childhood" diseases.
  4. Finally, the snowflakes, conspiracy theorists and habitual whingers have complained that this whole thing is a big plot to do everything from converting the USA into a socialist state, a Nazi state with President Trump as dictator, or a communist state ruled by China. And this vast conspiracy was concocted all to prevent them from cruising the bars, having sex on the beaches and attending concerts, raves and mass protests where you get laid afterward. Conspiracy theorists are so much fun to jerk around. They will believe anything that makes them the victims of the evil forces that they firmly believe rule the world.  Sorry guys. neither the gray aliens, the Illuminati, the Freemasons, Big Pharma nor the Reptiloids from Dimension 9 are out to cramp your hard partying style. The truth is that even the politicians that are trying to be in control aren't really in control. Nobody is in control unless you're a Christian claiming Romans 8:28.

Well, excuse me if you've been inconvenienced by precautions that have been taken (mostly voluntarily) to stop the spread of this stuff. I'm 66 years old. I've got crippling arthritis thanks to a life of doing good things that happened to have battered my joints. I take handfuls of pills to control my blood sugar and my blood pressure. I do exercises that hurt like all git-out!

Even then, despite the nearly constant pain and difficulty getting around because I'm living on a fixed income, I find that I am singularly uninterested in being killed off by suffocation by the coronavirus because some snowflake passed it around because he felt unhappy about taking precautions around people who were old and therefore of no value to him!!!!! And I find young people who live outside the CoVid-19 kill zone to be incredibly self-centered when they whine about not being allowed to risk everyone's life by spreading this stuff to tens of millions of their fellow human beings.

I was hoping to meet Jesus in the air when he comes and miss out on the whole death business. So I'd rather not be killed by a virus I got from some self-centered snowflake who wasn't worried about passing around a disease that kills older people like me thank you very much.

The fact that it's not 200,000 dead or worse with a virus infinitely more contagious than our regular garden-variety flu, tells me what we've done is working. Why can't America ever do something right with the conspiracy crowd? Always looking for someone to blame. It was America's fault the Japanese attacked us at Pearl Harbor. The Jihadis wouldn't have attacked the world trade center if we hadn't been richer than they are and hadn't been helped by President Bush. And on and on and on.

I think when we get opened back up and the economy recovers, we should take a victory lap. We know now that the virus came from the lab in Wuhan and that our previous administration pumped a lot of money into research into bat flu at that very lab which already was notoriously inept at security. We know China bought up tons of personal protective gear early on leaving other countries having to do emergency manufacturing while their people were dropping like flies. Italy didn't worry about taking measures to protect themselves and look where that got them. If we'd been hit like countries that ignored it, we'd have done 200K and probably better. I thank God it was Trump making those decisions and not some conspiracy theorist or (worse) Hillary Clinton.

Buck up, Buttercup! We're saving you from yourselves.

Truth Doesn't Feel Like That

The Problem With Conspiracy Theories

Just went round with a friend over the chemtrails conspiracy theory. This theory has morphed through several phase as conspiracy theorists searched for a reason why airplanes high in the atmosphere leave vapor trails. As more and more planes take to the air, fly higher and mount engines that run hotter, they leave more and more vapor trails in the sky, which those who enjoy making people paranoid are using to some effect.
High flying jets leave vapor trails. That what
happens when you pass a hot engine through cold air.
Conspiracy theories are supposed to be some kind of secret knowledge that only a few smart people are able to figure out. What they mostly do is bring out the arrogance in people convinced they are among the elite minds of our day. What conspiracy theories actually do is deceive, and I think this is more dangerous that if the theories were at all true. The point of a good conspiracy theory is to get people to (1) believe lies without examining them too closely, (2) divert their attention to actual evil being perpetrated in the world and (3) make them believe the forces of evil are more organized and powerful than they, in fact, are. Evil is out there, but the devil is not being quiet about it. If you look at evil, Nazism explained exactly what it would do in Hitler's book Mein Kampf, the communists, the facists and even the progressive have all clearly stated what they want to do to us in the name of control. In every case they wish to rig the governments of nations in order to control people. Even the terrible Masonic Lodge is a paper tiger when you come right down to it. A Southern Good Old Boy Network is in many ways a more powerful thing than a bunch of freemasons.

B-17s over Germany leaving "chemtrails'?
Chemtrails are a uselessly expensive idea. The point is to terrorize people into handing over power to government in order to save us all from global climate change - which is a preposterous idea. If they actually were to spray sulfates in the atmosphere and could stop global warming, they'd crow about it in every media outlet. Except they know the whole global warming notion is a fraud so why try to do anything about it. The point is to frighten people into believing this crap and handing over their freedom in exchange for feeling like they are virtuous and that somebody is actually doing something. If they fixed global warming they'd lose power.

The chemtrails hoax is a mysterious natural phenomenon looking for a conspiracy to explain it. Those who subscribe to the theory of chemtrails have been all over the map in ascribing a nefarious purpose behind high altitude jet contrails.  They've speculated that the purpose for commercial airline companies to risk gigantic class action lawsuits for doing it was everything from solar radiation management, weather modification, psychological manipulation, human population control, or biological or chemical warfare. Now they are saying it's climate control and Bill Gates is behind it. They cook up stories and statistics that show that chemtrails are behind every sort of  respiratory illness and any other likely scary health problem that can be stuffed into the narrative that some evil organization like SMERSH or SPECTRE or HYDRA or the Republican Party is trying to do us harm.

The people behind the frenetic spread of these hysterical conspiracy theories join the gullible lemming hoard because it makes them feel special. Those who inspire belief in such theories see themselves as being the movers and shakers of history and their confidence in their own hubris helps encourage conspiracy theories. In fact, the apparent shared mission of so many powerful people and organizations is not any sort of super-intelligent organizational effort. It's simply shared lust for power. The wealthy elites desire power for fear the masses are going to someday rise up and murder them in their beds. They see a road to power and control and they are all crammed onto it, riding like fury to their own destruction. It's a case of a common desire shared by people who are looking to protect themselves rather than depend on God to work all things together for good in their lives.

The devil wishes to create the illusion that humans can be in charge of history. It reminds me of a scene in the Disney animated movie Robin Hood, where a bunch of rhino soldiers charge into a bunch of tents and the sheriff of Nottingham and Little John wind up on top of the tents charging back and forth atop the rhinos totally out of control.I suspect the devil is laughing at those who think they have it all figured out and are going to seize for themselves the power they need so they can ditch God and forge their own destinies.

Progressives and their ilk (and I include the whole "united religions" crowd in that bunch) have seized on a narrative they think will scare the most people and now they have the proletariat charging off a socio-political-economic cliff to their own destruction. Human leaders have sat themselves atop the pile and once fancied themselves to hold the reins of power. About now, many are beginning to realize that they aren't steering anymore - that there is no steering wheel, no reins, no rudder. Democrats, for instance, thought they controlled the whole impeach the president process when they started it, but it's rapidly spinning out of control and I do believe Lucifer is enjoying their discomfiture.

The devil has taken many dry runs at destroying mankind - the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and the Mid-East wars were all dry runs, each and experiment leading to more and more devastation. The precursors are always the same. What Satan is running up to is a combination Civil War, World War, Genocide and global tyranny. If you examine history closely, you'll see he keeps trying the same techniques over and over. They fail, but Lucifer is every bit as deluded about the efficacy of his strategies as any modern progressive. It should work they say, because it feels right. That was precisely what the whole rebellion in heaven was about. Satan argued that free will is a mistake. Satan's case was that humans should not have free will. It would make them too much like God and that would jeopardize his own position as number 1 created being. Satan cares not about the human elites he's deluded into believing they have some kind of control over the course of history.. That ship sailed millenia ago. Now it's all chaos and conspiracies and the truth is if half these conspiracy theories were true, the various plots would cancel each other out or at the least blow up in the conspirators' faces.

Chemtrails are just a BS distraction. A song back in the 60s had a line in it that went, "Satan, Satan is my name, confusion is my game." He's working both ends against the middle and chemtrails, big pharma, vaccine hysteria - all of it is designed to teach people to believe a lie. It feels like you have some sort of secret knowledge that makes you smarter than everyone else. It plays to people's vanity and sucks them in and makes them feel superior to the rest of us rubes.

I'm sure many of my conspiracy theory aficionado friends are feeling quite superior to me right now, being as they are, in possession of secret knowledge. But Truth doesn't make you feel like that. If what you believe makes you feel smug and superior to everyone else, you're probably embracing something other than the Truth.

Global Climate Change Not a Conspiracy...........Really!

It's not about science. It's about power and the deception practiced
by those who crave power. As Daniel Webster said once, "They
promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."
Global Climate Change (aka global warming) is NOT a big conspiracy. It's a scientific controversy that has been co-opted and propagandized by political ideologues to create a narrative that says we humans should give up our liberties to socialist central planners in order to save the planet. Tragically, in the middle of all the politics, the real science that should be happening has been obscured, repressed, and funded out of recognition as pure science. When scientists' careers depend on their not challenging political dogma, science suffers.

Climate is an incredibly complex subject which has been emotionally charged because politics, religion and economics have all become entangled in what should be a strictly scientific issue. So instead of seeing computer climate models for what they are (theoretical guesswork), we've made them prophecy and enshrined the rhetoric of ideological profiteers like Al Gore and other so-called "climate warriors". Instead of healthy debate, we see dissenters silenced, ridiculed and marginalized n favor of a narrative dictated by globalist "progressives" who mean to be our masters.

We are currently in a cooling period thanks to a solar minimum that has reduced sunspot activity dramatically. The last big one of these we had, The Maunder Minimum, led to a period of climate change that, in Europe, was called "The Little Ice Age" and caused whole crops to be wiped out in some northern countries. England once had thriving vineyards that were killed out during the Maunder Minimum. Until someone hangs a thermostat on the sun, that great nuclear ball of fire in the sky will have far more to do with climate change than anything a scrabbling handful of people can do.

Should we clean up after ourselves? Sure. Should we minimize pumping smoke into the air? Probably, given the climate effects we see every time one of those big old volcanoes goes off and pumps the atmosphere full of dirt and smoke.

Should we enact draconian environmental laws, frighten children and place vast power in the hands of a gang of elitist central planners. NO! Unequivocally, no. That always turns out to be a very bad idea. Not that it won't happen. We could reach a tipping point soon where, thanks to relentless propaganda and fear-mongering, the citizens of Earth might well hand themselves and their futures over to what promises to be a wildly repressive oligarchy of progressive socialists.

Just look at how they go after anyone who opposes them by digging up dirt from their past, twisting the truth, and demonizing even their own people. Now imagine the global government secret police and how that's going to work out for anyone who complains about the universal low living standard being proposed by the very people who would cut the world's population in half to "save the planet".

We've seen how population controls work and the genocide that follows it as troublesome folk are removed because they threaten the power holders. The Beast thus created will be terrible to behold and this is the first time in history that we have the technology and the weapons to successfully manage a world population according to the dictates of an elite few. Now that we troublesome types can be hunted down with infrared trackers, our movements monitored by computer, our ability to buy and sell controlled by government agencies, and every word we've ever said online pulled up to be used to prosecute us using the over 2 million laws on the books in the United States alone, the end is coming sooner rather than later. In a way I'm glad I'm getting old. I weep for my children, though. It's not going to be pretty.

But, hey, Jesus is coming, so it'll be okay, no matter how badly the human race screws itself up trying to create a utopia for themselves without Him.

BOGUS CONSPIRACY ALERT: UN Armored Vehicles on US Highways

Truckload of made-in-USA UN armored trucks
on Virginia highway being shipped overseas.

Recently a photo of truckloads of UN military vehicles rolling down a Virginia Highway has been posted widely on social media, usually with comments hinting that something nefarious involving the UN was taking place on American soil. Usually something about foreign troops helping Obama confiscate all our guns.

Actually the truth is a whole lot less exciting so far as the Prison Planet/Alex Jones crowd is concerned. It turns out that these armored vehicles are built at the BAE Systems plant in York, PA. From there they are carried on trucks down I-81 to I-77, and then I-95 towards the port of Savannah to be shipped overseas.

And why not? Why wouldn't UN troops want good old American made, heavily armored, gas attack proof, bullet proof, IED resistant trucks to ride around in. No matter where they get sent to, their guns aren't loaded and they are not allowed to shoot back. UN troops with their powder blue, non threatening helmets are the Barney Fifes of peace-keepers.

Only they don't even get to keep that one bullet in their pocket.

Just sayin'

Full Tinfoil Hat - Why Do Relatively Intelligent People Go There?

Okay, the answer to that question is "I don't know." It's like people get so thrilled thinking they have some kind of secret knowledge that everyone else is too stupid to understand, that they will overlook glaring truth to accept the most outlandish conspiracy theories. Well, the truth is that in 99% of cases, your secret knowledge is a hodge-podge of rumor, innuendo and facts twisted beyond reconition and you are more than a little naive to swallow that stuff uncritically.

Someone recently posted this monumentally snarky video about how stupid we were to believe the "official" story about what happened to 9/11. These guys are the same ones that in the past few days have been saying the terrorist attack in Orlando was a false flag operation too.

Puh-leeeease! You people make me sick!
So I challenge the video's reasoning and I immediately get this snarky post back from someone calling himself "Steve Forbes". Yeah, right. He's a billionaire ex-presidential candidate.
  • So let me get this right you believe that 19 Muslims who barely spoke English !! High jacked airline jets with box cutters flew around for an hr without being shot down by one of the most heavily defended air spaces in the world , flew at speeds that would have ripped those planes apart , into two high rise buildings that eventually brought them down in there own foot prints ? Oh boy
Yeah, I do - Occam's razor, dude. The simplest explanation is the most likely. It frightens some people to think we're that easy to kill, but the truth is we are. So, since I don't want to have to keep repeating myself to the beanie-with-propeller crowd, here's my response.
  1. The planes did not fly at speeds that would have ripped them apart. That part is made up. It's just an out and out lie.
  2. High rise buildings aren't difficult to hit. After all, the twin towers weren't that hard to hit. They were sticking way above the rest of the city AND the planes were banking like all get out because they evidently lined up wrong on approach.
  3. They actually did know how to fly - just not to land. And they spoke English. Couldn't have taken the flight courses if they didn't. The fact that they didn't stay for the bit about landing the plane should have triggered some alarm bells, but nobody wanted to be thought of as anti-Muslim so everybody kept quite, except for a couple of guys who were thought to be paranoid and anti-Muslim, who were promptly ignored. All the terrorists had to learn how to do was steer the plane and they took enough training for that in Florida.
  4. No one on the plane challenged them over the "mere" box cutters because, at the time, we had all been trained to not resist. That training lasted right up until the folk on the plane found out they were crashing planes into buildings. After that the folk on the Pennsylvania flight figured out that this was not a good way to survive and they attacked the terrorists, who promptly dived the plane into the ground so they'd have at least a plane load of virgin credit in Paradise.
  5. The vertical collapse of the twin towers happened because the top floors pancaked into the lower floors and the buildings were designed to resist side force hurricane winds so they really were weakest only straight down. Building 7 caught fire from falling debris and firefighters were so busy at the WTC that it too burned out and collapsed, it's structure weakened by falling debris from the WTC towers.
  6. As to how they attacked us in our so-called "heavily defended" airspace - the USAF doesn't make a practice of shooting down airliners. The Air Force shares that "defended" airspace with some 102,700 aircraft per day, defending it with a handful of fighter aircraft which are prohibited from approaching civilian airliners except when called to do so. Radio silence (at the time) was not considered enough to scramble fighter jets.
So let ME get this right again regarding the motivation for this expensive and massive plot you think you've uncovered:
  1.  You believe everybody kept quiet. That 4 or five thousand people cooperated with the president of the United States to murder 3000 people by taking them off airplanes and killing them in cold blood.
  2. You believe the CIA did some magical special effects trick that make David Copperfield look like a schlub. The CIA or somebody in some secret agency created some kind of optical illusion to make tens of thousands of New Yorkers and hundreds of millions of television viewers think they saw two airplanes hit the WTC towers?
  3. Then, you're telling me the buildings were imploded with people in them. You're saying that in the weeks before 9/11 (and it would take weeks if not months to do this), a clandestine team of building demolition experts sneaked into the WTC towers every night and rigged them to implode without anybody noticing the explosives attached to every support column on all 150 some-odd floors.
  4. Meanwhile back in Washington DC, the CIA fired a rocket into the Pentagon. And then, what? Hypnotized all the people in Washington to believe they didn't see a rocket fly into the Pentagon? That they saw a plane instead AND these geniuses were too stupid to realize that people would expect to see the marks of the wings on the 12 foot thick concrete walls.
  5. Then they scattered all these airplane parts and jet engines and stuff all around the site of both "attacks" in what? Invisible trucks? Jet engines and wheels and stuff are pretty large and heavy. So nobody noticed that they were trucking in this phony evidence while they were doing it.
  6. Then the conspirators were able to convince all the people on the planes to call up their loved ones and tell them an elaborate phony story. This all happened right before the planes were landed, the people taken off and murdered in cold blood by evil government minions?  And what? They paid wives and mothers and 911 operators to record this stuff so they'd have plenty of phony evidence?
  7. I just want to be sure I understand what you're saying about the media coverup now. You believe that the entire news media went along with this gigantic coverup - a news media by the way that hated George W. Bush and would have drowned their own grandmothers for a chance to discredit a Republican president.
  8. And you believe that all these thousands of people did this, so that George W. Bush's buddies at Halliburton could make some money? Money that was essentially a pittance; pocket change compared to the other things Halliburton does for money. Bush, whom you all consider to be the stupidest president every, somehow knew he could squeeze a few no-bid contracts out for Halliburton during the Iraq war he planned to start because he knew Americans would be angry enough to let him do that?
  9. And the CIA and the other intelligence serviced HELPED him do it. Let's remember that the Clinton-built and staffed CIA at this time positively hated George W. Bush, so why would they cooperate with him? And George didn't replace Director Tenet till the end of his first term and Tenet really did not like Bush being so nosy about CIA intel. The CIAs doctoring of data was one of the reason Bush never heard about possible terrorist hijackings in the weeks leading up to 9/11. The CIA was telling him what they thought he wanted to hear. He gave them a good raking over the coals for that.
So tell me which scenario makes more sense?

Of course, the giant conspiracy stimulates these people's bulbous naughty places and makes them feel less vulnerable. After all, who doesn't want to believe the only way you can be killed is with the help of some vast government conspiracy? Who knows, Alex Jones might even have time to warn you before they punch paid to your increasingly wacky ticket.

So
here's video of the plane hitting the second tower which these people want you to believe didn't really happen and nobody really saw it happen despite it's being filmed live from ten different angles.

The truth is there are evil dragons out there and you are crunchy and taste good with a nice white garlic sauce and hummus.

By all means, don't forget the hummus.

The GMO Presidents - A Conspiracy Theory

I think that Barak Obama is a genetic experiment (cue the X-Files music).
For that matter so were the rest of the Democrat presidential candidates for the last 40 years. This blog post was first suggested by another blog post by Mark Milliorn, history professor at Enema U whose work I have long admired. Over the painful years of the Obama presidency, I have begun to wonder about the nature of the individuals that Democrats choose as presidential candidates. At last, through diligent research in the darker recesses of the Internet and among back issues of the National Enquirer littered with space alien conspiracies, I think I know what's going on!

I have a theory that the Democrats are conducting genetic experiments trying to produce the ultimate president. It started with Jimmy Carter who was an early attempt to create a half Christian/half Marxist. As we know it didn't turn out very well and their next two attempts (half German/half weasel and half robot/half Kitchen-Aid Toaster) were not terribly popular with the electorate.

Democrat geneticists finally hit a workable combination that did manage to capture the imagination of the voters the next go-round with the half redneck/half testoterone-soaked Jackrabbit that was Bill Clinton. They then made two consecutive attempts at reanimating the dead, both of which failed (with the last one you could still see the bolts sticking out of his neck, which creeped people out).

They hit the jackpot (or genepot) again, finally, with the half guilty white liberal/half black communist candidate they ran successfully in 2008. This version came out of the more traditional liberal husbandry program being run out of Harvard University. Unfortunately, flushed with success, the Democrat scientists apparently have been resting on their laurels during the Obama years (perhaps expecting them never to end). According to my cocaine-addled sources within the White House, the Democrats' next experimental presidential candidate wasn't quite ready for the 2016 election cycle. Apparently Biden is a demonstration of what happens when you breed too closely - like hip dyspalsia in certain dog breeds like St. Bernards and German Shepherds and too-narrow skulls in Dobermann's that cause their brains to be squeezed. That would explain a lot of the Vice-President's public statements over the years.

So instead, the perfect presidential candidate breeding program decided to recycle The Bride of Half Jackrabbit/Half Handsy Redneck. They were fortunate in that Bride was the product of an early abortive attempt to create a guilty white liberal/socialist/feminist. At this point, they are hoping to keep her erect for at least as long as it takes to get elected and to keep the husband of guilty white liberal/socialist/feminist from groping the female campaign workers (at least not in public) - in other words, not so erect.

To hedge their bets, the Dems are also offering up a pair of earlier experimental attempts at breeding an acceptable honky Marxist. Both are a little long in the tooth, having been kept in the lab pens for several decades, but they don't have anything else at present. So a hoary old leftist and the old dim-witted serial groper have been trotted out by the team as an alternative offering just in case the Bride of Clintonstein accidentally wanders off deeper into the email mine field or grabs hold of a solar electric transformer and blows herself up.

I hear they're planning a black/Hispanic/feminist/communist hybrid for 2020, but so far, they've been unable to make one that is a reliably pro-choice atheist Marxist. The specimens keep sneaking off to go to Mass and have lunch at Taco Bueno and Popeye's. They had to dispose of two, that I know, of recently because they just couldn't keep them from shopping at Walmart.

But the Dems still have faith in genetic science (except the kind that produces better crops, prevents childhood diseases and keeps the elderly alive longer). As the old saying goes, "Hope springs eternal in the Progressive Socialist Petrie dishes.

Don't You Just Love a Good Conspiracy Theory?

Once in a while I watch one of those "documentaries" that tell you how the Rosicrucians, the Illuminati, the shadow government, the Freemasons or the New World Order really run everything. These films confidently proclaim that these evil conspiracies would kill anyone who told the "truth" about them.

So they did a movie about the secret shadow government and told the truth about these secret societies.

And the filmmakers aren't dead!

Huh?

Don't get me wrong. There is a conspiracy to control the world and yes lots of powerful people are participating in that conspiracy.
But as one of the filmmakers prefaced his movie, "It's not who you think."

Here's a hint.  Name starts with "L". And he doesn't wear red long johns and carry a pitchfork.  Jesus told us long ago who we fight against. It's principalities and powers led by the devil our adversary who walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.  So before you get all wrapped up in paranoia about secret societies and plots by evil corporations to murder us all for profit, realize that all this is a smoke screen for what's really going on. We are being given the Joshua challenge here in the last days of Earth. Choose this day whom you will serve.

The choice is easy - God first or yourself first. Good or evil, for make no mistake, if you put yourself above  everyone else, if you embrace the idea that it's survival of the fittest and determine in your heart to be one of the "fittest", then, you have chosen an evil path and you will make of yourself little more than a tool of anyone stronger who comes along and promises you some trinket you think you must have in exchange for your obedience.

As for me and my house, well you know what our choice is.

So should we  be afraid of conspiracies and shadow governments. Jesus said, the truth shall set you free. He boiled that truth down to two principles (Love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself) and ten commandments which is all the law you really need to run a world.

If you have that truth in your heart, you don't have to be afraid of anything.  Certainly not secret societies and evil capitalist or socialist cabals. Those guys are motivated by greed. They're not terribly well organized, will stab each other in the back at the drop of a hat and only work toward similar goals because of shared greed.

They should be laughed at, not feared. Scorned not glorified. What a bunch of tools!

To Vaccinate or Not to Vaccinate - Pick Yer Pundit

One of the anti-vaccine crowd the other day claimed that measles died out naturally, not because of vaccines. Said we never really did need vaccines, This Jenny McCarthy true-believer apparently doesn't watch the news anymore.  Measles never died out. We''re in the middle of an epidemic right now and whooping cough is back this year too. The epidemic is running loose in two places - illegal immigrant communities and upper class white liberal neighborhoods where hand-wringing moms, who watch Jenny McCarthy as their primary source of medical information, have opted not to vaccinate their kids.

I'm just wondering.  Even if some kids do react badly to vaccines, and I'm not saying they don't, do we stop giving vaccines at all (for those of you who are "against" vaccines) and roll the dice with childhood diseases? Do these people truly advocating that instead of vaccinating to prevent disease, that we turn "Big Pharma" (the conspiracy theorist's bugaboo in all this) loose to develops "other ways" to handle childhood diseases as some of them seem to be suggesting.

Or should we we go back to "natural" methods like gathering roots in the woods and boiling them in our pewter caldrons (the kind you buy in Diagon Alley). If you remember, that never worked out so well back when that was all we had.. Ask yourself, "Do we stop vaccinating in order to save a handful of kids from autism and go back to losing thousands of kids every year when the epidemics sweep through our schools." You guys have a short, short memory. I agree that everything that could be done, should be done and it is being done. There hasn't been thimeresol (with mercury in it) in children's vaccines since the 90s and the conspiracy crowd is still fluttering about it. There is some Thimeresol in flu vaccines, but those are ENTIRELY VOLUNTARY.

Also, remember this. Thanks to vaccines tens of thousands of children who might have died from so-called "childhood diseases" grew up to live and reproduce. Whatever genetic weaknesses they had that might have led them to succumb to a childhood disease is passed along to the next generation. I wonder if this spread of the propensity to die from a genetic disease is why some kids are now so compromised they are reacting even to the weakened disease in the vaccines?

So now you have a new problem. Do we take the eugenics approach advocated by early progressive socialists (and apparently by not so early progressive socialists) and let the "weak" be weeded out by nature's through disease to strengthen the human race? That seems to me what people are saying when they tell you childhood diseases aren't so bad and ought to run loose again. I wonder how many of those children who developed autism will survive the full up diseases?

Notice that the terrible reactions to vaccines being reported among a small group of kids didn't start happening till childhood disease epidemics stopped running through our schools every year thanks to vaccines. It sounds horrible to me to suggest we ought to let measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough, diptheria and all the rest of the childhood diseases run loose again. We used to have to have ten kids per family in order to insure that even half of them survived childhood diseases and made it to adulthood. Many of the kids, culled from the human herd by Mother Nature, died from pneumonia and secondary infections. Given the nasty strains of those secondary infections that are running loose right now (think MRSA), are we going to be risking an even higher death rate once this new epidemic of childhood disease gets rolling.

One thing I have noticed, though is that the anti-vaccine rhetoric is strongest among political progressives and out there libertarians. Please beware my friends. Your compatriots have a history of not telling the entire truth. The point of my post is that who are you going to trust. It's funny how people who seem perfectly rational are willing to dismiss Dr. Carson as "in the medical profession" as though that taints him somehow.

I trust people in the medical profession waaaaaaaay more than I do the ragtag collection of witchdoctors and snake oil salesmen who are out there busily pumping up the anti-medical, anti-pharmacology hysteria.

I am very much against going back to the good old days before vaccines.

The Libertarian/Liberal Alliance and the Mistreatment of History

Got another email from a friend of mine today. It was a link to a Lew Rockwell post that was supposed to show me I was a neocon and wrong about Ron Paul and libertarian isolationism. Apparently Robert McNamara was wrong about Vietnam.

Well, duh!

And that's supposed to convince me that withdrawing from the world militarily and sitting behind our borders, legalizing pot and abolishing the world bank is a good idea? First, I take Lew Rockwell's correspondents with a grain of salt (and a small grain - I have high blood pressure) The Lew Rockwell gang are every bit as adept at twisting history to suit a narrative (isolationism) as McNamara and his ilk ever were. The libertarian/liberal alliance of today is beating the drum for the US to pull out of the world as a miracle cure for national aggression and they never tire of calling you a neocon for not supporting them.

Vietnam was a mistake, not because we were trying to save South Vietnam from North Vietnamese conquest, but because we weren't, no matter what MacNamara said. Vietnam was about ginning up paranoia in order to prolong what was essentially a massive weapons testing spree by the military/industrial complex. There was no thought of winning the war, just keeping it going so they could work out the kinks in all those expensive new weapons they wanted taxpayers to buy. And no article about how China was too poor to overrun Southeast Asia anyway is going to convince me they wouldn't have done it if we'd taken our troops home and not made it too costly for them to extend their "Sphere of Influence". Vietnam was badly handled. We could have ended that war in six weeks if we hadn't handcuffed ourselves before we went into it.

My foreign policy would be this instead.

  • Rule 1: The United States never fights a holding war. If we go to war it's in, win and gone. We'll even help the people of the miscreant nation clean up and rebuild. We're nice people like that. Ask Japan and Germany.
  •  Rule 2: No nation may henceforth march into another nation and conquer it. Period!

George Bush was right in liberating Kuwait and returning its government to its original state. George W was right in going to Afghanistan to root out state-sponsored terrorism. He was right in taking down Saddam for violating the original Gulf War cease fire which saved his fuzzy butt to continue mass murdering his own people. No fly zones were a poor substitute for taking out that madman in the first place.

And we should have got nose to nose with Putin over the Crimea. If the populace wanted to go back to Mother Russia as Putin said, let the UN go in and conduct elections and make it a peaceful transfer. Other than by the will of the people no outside nation should be allowed to change the national borders of another (and yes, even borders in Africa). By acting on principle to stifle aggressor nations we can avoid a whole lot of the kind of bloodshed the libertarian/liberal alliance never seems to get upset over - mass murder by conquerors.

I think both parties have it wrong because both are cowardly. They fear losing power so much that they are afraid to wield it properly when the time comes. I also think the libertarian/liberal alliance is wrong-headed on many levels in its naive belief that the US can bring about peace simply by withdrawing from the world stage and that our trading vessels and commerce will be able to go unmolested about the world.

No matter what Country Joe and the Fish might have to say about it, you can't put down your guns and pick up your hookah and make everything magically okay in the world. There is good and evil. We may have failed in a big way in the past, but that's no excuse to wallow in our guilt and curl up in the fetal position behind our leaky borders with bong to comfort us.

Our guiding principle should be the Arthurian one - "Not Might is right, but Might FOR right." Who decides what is right? Well all we've got is electable and fallable human leaders. I'm not saying trust them without question. I'm saying that as a people we should be telling them what is right and expecting them to do that.

Unfortunately we have a press that's busy trying to convince us that we're on our way to a socialist utopia and a political class that only cares about maintaining its power.
Without an unbiased, open and fearless press, we're pretty much screwed. You have ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN singing the liberal anthem. You've got Lew Rockwell and Alex Jones marching the unstable conservatives off the cliff and the country club Republicans trying to beat Democrats at their own political games. Center moderates and mainstream conservatives are left with little more sanity than Fox News and the exhausting struggle to sift through the crap to find the truth.

As Ronald Reagan showed, the American people recognize the truth when they hear it and will get behind it. Unfortunately, we only had 8 years of that kind of principled leadership, then the politicians took it back. They're bad enough. I see no advantage to giving it to the nuts.

And don't ask me about the revisionist history lesson I got last night about the evilness of Israel from a liberal university history professor. History is such a messy business, especially when libs (of both stripes) get hold of it.

There You Go Again.....The Paulestinians Stretch Another Conspiracy Theory to Ludicrous Lengths

The rumors of Judge Napolitano's banishment from
FOX News have been greatly exaggerated.

The Paulestinians are at it again. Apparently, Judge Napolitan's show on Fox Business will be cancelled, although the judge will remain a Fox contributor. A recent bit of political conspiracy spam has popped up saying a specific speech more than 8 months earlier was the reason he was fired.

This is because someone found a Napolitano piece that mentioned Ron Paul favorably and tried to connect it to the cancellation of his show.  Never mind that Napolitano did this piece two years ago. Never mind that Fox was already planning a program shuffle before Napolitano did this report. Never mind that the Judge did a major piece on Fox News just last week. Never let a little thing like the truth get in the way of a good conspiracy theory.

The Paulestinian, conspiracy junkies, every ready to stretch a suspicion to ludicrous lengths, call an unrelated Freedom Watch segment the so-called "speech that got him fired" and run it as a breaking news story.  Since Napolitano was "fired", the Judge has been on Fox as a commentator and reporter so often most people didn't realize his regular show was gone.  It really seems unlikely that Fox would keep giving him feature stories for almost two years after they "fired" him for mentioning the almighty Ron Paul with suitable (for Libertarians anyway) reverence. And he's done some even more controversial pieces since then.

It looks like the Paulistas would get tired of this nonsense after a while. They really are starting to make conservatives look bad. Let me say this one more time and since the forces de' Paul seem to prefer to write in all caps let me as one of the Bible's minor prophets put it, "Write it with large letters so that he who runs may read it":

LYING DOES NOT HELP THE CAUSE. IT ONLY MAKES US LOOK LIKE..........LIARS!

Stop it, please.

Just sayin'

Adam Kokesh Suckers the Ron Paul Fringe

Do NOT free Adam Kokesh!
  • The man is a pro-leftist plant, whose purpose appears to be to spread disruption, confusion and chaos in the ranks of conservatives.

  • He has a long history of working with leftist groups, but gets a pass from the fringe right because he "organized" Veterans for Ron Paul and he's pro-pot.
  • He deliberately provoked cops at a pot-rally recently and did a Lewinsky/Yugoslavia shuffle to get himself "arrested" to distract from the growing awareness among conservatives of his progressive socialist roots. Now the Paulistas have started a "Free Adam Kokesh" movement on the web.
  • Kokesh uses classic Alinsky/Leninist tactics - tell the lie, shout down anyone who objects, belittle opponents, repeat the lie.
  • He is organizing the insane armed march on Washington in July in covert cooperation with Marxist groups like Code Pink for the express purpose (in my opinion) of getting enough people killed to provoke massive gun control legislation.

I say, "Keep Adam Kokesh Locked UP!"

Share with 25 people if you love Ronald Reagan  ;-)
