Former First Lady Gets Less than Stellar Reviews on Her New Netflix Film

I'm sure Michelle Obama was expecting better reviews from the usually fawning media for her new Netflix film about herself. Titled "Becoming", the critics called Michelle's first big Netflix production “bland,” “self-celebratory,” and “paper-thin.”  Of course immediately afterward the same critics made sure to let you know how awesome Mrs. Obama herself is.

Time magazine softened it's harsh judgment of the film by noting the Dear Leaderess “deserves more than a worshipful gaze” such that the documentary offered. Critic Stephanie Zacharek wrote that Michelle is so wonderful that she didn't need the documentary. “Obama deserves so much more than the worshipful glassy gaze of this documentary;" opined Zacharek. "She’s so far beyond it that it can barely contain her.”

Indiwire's Kate Erbland damned with moderate gushing. “While the film’s star and subject is never less than dazzling, even her most inspiring moments can’t obscure a paper-thin exploration of a remarkable life in transition.”  She acknowledged that the film was "an unfocused collection of concepts," she went on to drool that every unfocused concept "could all inspire their own films.”

In promoting the film, Ms. Obama stated candidly that having children was a ‘concession’ that cost her her ‘dreams’. What a mom!

Honestly, I could NOT have read anymore. While I still maintain that what looks like an organized conspiracy is more often simply a sharing of basic ideas and values. The university professors of the United States have been enamored of socialism since the 19th century. Socialism promises those who educate America's future journalists, politicians and leaders, an exalted place in the new order. Remember, the same class of educated fools praised Hitler and Stalin, built statues to Mussolini in New York and openly thought that sterilizing and/or euthanizing people with disabilities, mental illness, and the useless elderly was a dandy idea. That sort of cold logic still underlies much if not most of academic thinking. Listen to professors talk fondly of "aborting" babies up to two years old if genetic defects are found in them or at the very least castrating them.

While I don't believe that the fawning movie critics are totally dishonest, (they did honestly report that the film was a poorly done puff piece after all), the could not leave it at that, but had to soften the blow with glowing praise for the subject of the film.

I don't think anybody paid these guys to sell their souls to kneel before the Lightbearer II, I do believe that their educational indoctrination enabled the to do no less. These journalists are more like worshipers than unbiased reporters. They blame the faults in the film on the filmmaker, saying it wasn't worthy of the Dear Leaderess, conveniently ignoring the fact that Michelle was the star of the show and that it was produced under the new contract that Netflix has with the Obamas to produce films for the movie streaming giant.

Try looking it up on Google or any browser really. You'll get page after page of "critical" reviews that basically say the film sucks, but Michelle shines! When have we ever heard a more disingenuous load of claptrap from supposedly hard-hearted journalists like the movie critic cadre?  Hint: You probably won't.

Again, I don't think it's a conspiracy. I think it's worse. I think what we have is what happened to the Israelites who went over to the worship of Baal. They bought the easy lies they were told by the media, academia and the film industry equivalents of the time. Next thing you know, good Jewish parents were tossing their kids into the fires of Moloch. And how come these devilish forms of government always seem to want to kill children in large numbers?

Turns out Senator McCarthy may have been on to something after all when he started turning over rocks and finding communists. Perhaps there were communists after all! How else do you explain the fact that supposedly independent, unbiased journalists could not criticize a very bad film without softening the blow and kissing the ring of the self-centered narcissist who narrated the whole thing. Somebody's been passing out communist propaganda for so long that the rubes in our leader clas have, in disturbing numbers, bought that nonsense hook, line and sinker.

My worry is that this attitude is so pervasive that those of us who received at least part of our education from conservative and Christian teachers will soon be seen as enemies of the state or at least a threat to the new order. Some people already do if you listen to Bernie Sanders' supporters who speak openly of gulags for those who resist the progressive socialist movement.

To quote a tired maxim, "If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and waddles like a duck, it's more than likely a duck!"  In the same way, "If it looks like a socialist, talks like a socialist and walks like a socialist, it's very likely to set up gulags and commence firing up the furnaces."

Are These Obama Sycophants Serious?

Got this (above) posted on my Facebook wall this morning. I just had to wonder whether the guy was serious or just wanted to make me blow up and waste the rest of the morning arguing with him and his cronies.

It's odd. They are trying so hard to revive Obama's rep and its ludicrous.  I mean, Obama owned the House and Senate his first term and the Democrats had owned the senate and house for two years BEFORE he became president so they were able to do a lot of prep work (like crashing the economy) before he got there. They arranged a Nobel Prize for him less than a month after he became president and he hadn't even done any serious damage to the United States yet.  And with the padded head start they gave him, this man is still blaming Bush for everything. He piled up trillions in debt in just his first term. He managed in just 4 years to out spend all 46 previous presidents put together. 

Yeah, if it weren't for those pesky Republicans obstructing him at every term, we might have a national form of socialist government by now and what a joy that would be. Imagine if he could have "done more"?!!

Okay, let's imagine if president Obama could have successfully nationalized the economy and given us real state socialism  Except, let's take an example from history where a nationalized state socialims was tried out.The leader of that nation also claimed he had a "better" version of Marxiswm all figured out far better than the Communist kind. He and his followers assured everyone that this new brand of kinder, gentler socialism would "work this time" because, unlike previous disastrous attempts at Marxist socialism, this time they had the "right leaders". The Leader (that's what they called him - "the leader") complained that a certain group was "obstructing his reforms at every turn" (probably early Republicans I bet) and with the assent of the people, he did manage to quietly remove those obstructionists rather effectively - some six million of them.

He loved nature and children, enacted rigorous gun control laws for the safety of the people. Only the authorities, he argued, needed to bear arms. Without guns in the hands of the proletariat, civil unrest was abruptly ended and peace reined.

He rammed through strict environmental laws to save the forests because nature was good "for the people." Then the leader's ministers built huge estates on the lands confiscated by the government so they could protect those beautiful natural vistas from encroachment by "the people", because nature must be protected for the good of everyone, it was argued. 

Churches, priests and pastors - were stripped of their protected status if they criticized what was going on.  The Leader arrested thousands and executed many hundreds who opposed his policies - including world reknown theologians and churchmen.

This great visionary leader wanted the government to control all those evil corporations that were exploiting the people. He got that too and proceeded to enact policies which turned those industries into slave labor camps and eventually reduced those industries to rubble.

Remarkably (if you believe the newspapers), everybody just loved him and wanted him elected to a third term.... Remember this lovable guy?

Al-Quaeda on the Run in a "More Peaceful World"

Let's revisit the words of the smartest president who ever lived and his equally brilliant VP  over the past 4 years and cast them against the reality of today's event. Surely we will see that all is well in the world and going according to plan.~

You're going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government."  - Joe Biden (Larry King Live - 2010)

• "The world is less violent than it has ever been. It is healthier than it has ever been. It is more tolerant than it has ever been. It is better fed then it’s ever been. It is more educated than it’s ever been." - Barak Obama (2014)

The Iraqi government is stable in the sense that it is losing ground and crumbling at a nice steady rate.

The president actually could say that the world is a more peaceful place, if by that you mean that as the bad guys are winning they are slaughtering more and more of their "enemies". There is nothing quite so peaceful as piles of dead people. Large numbers of those dead people were poor and ignorant so percentage wise that would mean more of us are now well-fed and better educated. Also, tens of thousands of the dead were Christians, so, by definition, we are now a more tolerant world because everybody knows how intolerant Christians are.~

And he does have a point about Al Quaeda. They are indeed on the run - with an Army straight toward Baghdad. Reminds me of an old Russian saying that was popular during the Communist era famines. "If you want milk, take your pail to the radio." In totalitarian nations, the news reports always paint a rosier picture than what is reality.

We could update that Russian observation for today's America this way.

Pro-Obama Art - Putting the Fun in Making Fun

I added the "comment". The original painting was submitted straight as a tribute to President Obama. What's really sad about this picture is that the artist, Olga Kuczer, says she painted it because, "I really Hope People will look at this painting and Believe in Good Changes are coming in America with Obama.” The capital letters are hers. I'm sure she has absolutely no idea why, when most of us look at this image, we see echoes of the sycophantish worship of Hitler, Lenin, Stalin and Mao and a thousand other charismatic leaders who were going to save "the people" and change their countries for the better - and then proceeded to give us the gas ovens, the gulags, mass starvation, genocide and tyranny.  Ms. Kuczer cannot possibly realize what a horror this image represents to hundreds of millions of us. There's more stuff like this at the Art of Obama website. Take some Dramamine first. You'll need it.

Olga got some negative comments on her art even on the pro-Obama website that original version was posted to. What's particularly telling is that her responses reveal that she has no clue as to why anyone would take offense.  Her response is that "Everybody sees what they want to see." Boy does she have that right. It's what's scary about the Obama acolytes. They see what they want to see, not what is. When more Americans become like Olga and don't cringe at idea of someone exchanging a man's image for that of Lady Liberty, we are so done as a free nation!

Can you imagine the horror and outrage in the media if someone had painted THIS picture 8 years ago???

The left would react with the same horror that conservatives find in the original image of Obama destroying Lady Liberty from within.  It's ironic that a painting in honor of President Obama would so clearly depict what his administration is doing to this country.  Unfortunately for all of us, the irony is lost on sycophants. They always have this surprised look on their faces as their dear leader cues them  up for the trains to Treblinka.

You may have heard about a protest scheduled for July 4 in which thousands of armed Americans plan to march across the Memorial Bridge into Washington.  The idea is to carry loaded weapons into downtown Washington, march around the Capitol, the White House and a bunch of other government buildings and then supposedly march back out the way they came.  Of course, this won't happen the way it's planned.  Of course there will be a huge military and police presence and of course there will be lots of arrests.  The prison terms could be extensive and the fines could destroy anyone arrested. If they are not careful, some fok could be shot and even killed.  Not only that, but the man leading the march is a fake with a long history as a liberal Marxist radical working with liberal Marxist groups.  He's even asked President Obama to support the march. Talk about a false flag operation, this one is the mother of all false flag ops.

Michelle Malkin published a piece on Adam Kokesh the self-proclaimed "libertarian anarchist" who is organizing the march.  Even his Wikipedia entry gives you some insight into his activities with Marxist groups and the Wikipedia entry has been white-washed as much as Adam and his supporters could manage. The Washington Post says Code Pink will be at the bridge to offer "hugs" to protestors o "counter the pro-gun message of the marchers. Interesting action by Code Pink since they have a history of working with Adam Kokesh in the past.   Kokesh also helped organize the radical Iraq Veterans Against the War group and (insert Claud Rains quote here - "I'm shocked, shocked!") he helped organize "Veterans for Ron Paul".  That poor man never had a chance at the presidency.  He attracts lunatics like a magnet attracts iron filings.

This "March" is nothing more than an attempt to discredit pro-second amendment Americans. The man's a troll on steroids. Marching on Washington with loaded guns is an incredibly bad idea. If you really WANT a gun ban, the thing you do is you show up at the Capitol where the lawmakers sit with several thousand lunatics with loaded guns.  Want to really protest.  Show up on the far side of the bridge with signs that say - "We are the Tea Party - You don't represent us".

Personally I support a gun ban in Washington, DC. The city has the highest concentration of Democrats of anywhere in the country. I maintain that, with all those liberals packed together in one place, they should not be allowed to carry or even possess firearms. 

They'll shoot their eyes out!

Like We Need Another "Ist"....

The man who sits in the oval office is a progressivist, a socialist and a collectivist. He is a Marxist, an elitist and a unilateralist. The only ist he "istn't" is a free market capitalist. For the foundation principle behind the great wealth and security we enjoy today, he has mostly contempt. save for his profound appreciation for the fruits of that principle.  He looks upon the wealth of America with the same gleam in his eye that mythical dragons had for gold and treasure just waiting to be plundered.  He and his fellow dragons have set themselves the task of looting our children's future in order to change America into a pale shadow of a failed ideology that angry leftists cling to as a child clings to candy and sweets all the while rejecting the whole idea of learning to eat their vegetables. (And he throws like a girl).

Russians Squeeze NASA for More Bucks

The price just went up on the cost of getting American astronauts into space.  The price of shipping our astronauts to the space station via Russia's "spam in a can" Soyuz capsule just increased from 62.3 million per seat to 70 million per seat.  

Thanks to this brilliant move, NASA is stuck hitching rides with the Russkies until at least 2017 - a deal which puts American astronauts in the hands of 1970s Russian technology in order to reach the space station. 

And the left is, of course, still blaming it on George Bush.

 I had intended to make some comment about how the Obama Administration's new goals for NASA had switched from space exploration to making Muslim nations feel good about themselves and their contribution to science, but let's let the president's choice for NASA head honcho speak for himself:




Note that none of the three initiatives the president charged Bolden with has anything to do directly with space exploration. It's all about political agenda.  The first thing NASA did under the Obama Administration in 2009 was cut the Orion crew size and delay the project for years, guaranteeing we continue to rely on the Russians to get our guys into space for close to a decade.

Notice that the evil commercial sector which is busily "lining its pockets", has already launched freight carrying space vehicles that cost NASA half what it's own rockets cost, delivering bigger and bigger payloads.  The Dragon X manned capsule will be ready long before Orion is. Space planes and inflatable hotels in space are already in the offing. 




And care to guess which president pushed hardest for NASA to open the doors to commercial space flight?

Meanwhile Obama's NASA will be busily "inspiring" children to "get into" science rather like they get into video games and rap music.  And the boss, Director Bolden, will be wandering around the middle east looking for ways to make the Muslims feel good about their contributions to science (his words).

Don't get me wrong. I do appreciate Arab contributions to science like unpronounceable names for constellation and that whole Arabic numerals thing.  Technically though they should be called "Hindu-Arabic numerals" because the Persians and Arabs borrowed them from their Hindu inventors (rather before any of your actual Arabs and Persians actually became your actual Muslims).  We are grateful that the Arabs, by then Muslim, passed Arab numerals along to the west no matter that they were misnamed.

Westerners grabbed onto the new number system instantly - probably because they were stuck trying to multiply CMLXXXVII times MDCLXXVIII  (the answer has something like 1,656 "M's" in it).  So let me formally thank the Middle East for 0 through 9.  Right handy it's been all in all. Without it we'd have had a right job of it to figure out which shuttle mission was STS-CXXXV.  And think of all the money NASA has saved on hiring the guys that paint the lettering on the spaceships, not to mention the cranes, the vehicle assembly building and the catering trucks. 859 takes a lot less paint than does DCCCLIX. 

At the rate things are going, I fully expect the greedy capitalists to be back on the moon long before NASA can figure out which Middle-Eastern leader most needs to be reassured that Islam has contributed to "science".  I'm sure, however, that millions of children will be "inspired" to "go into" science by NASA's new propaganda mission.  When NASA finally finds its way to Mars, they'll be able to land their one way space pod full of "inspired" kids in the parking lot of a Martian McDonald's right between a Ford orbital shuttle and a BMW interplanetary cruiser. 

Good plan, Big "O".  Really great plan.

Feminizing the Politburo - Obama Throws Like a Girl

This country's leadership has suffered an acute lack of testosterone in recent years. Congress has had it for far longer than the administration. The wimp factor is more understandable in Congress and probably a lot less harmful than it is in the presidency.   Leadership, no matter what gender the person in the main office is a masculine role.  There's a reason for that. Men tend to be goal directed problem solvers.Women tend to be conflict managers and nest builders.

A feminized approach to governance is necessarily a socialist approach.  Everything must be fair and by fair she means equal. No one must upset the social order.  There is a reason it was "Mother" Russia during the days of the Soviet Union.

The last high testosterone  president we had was Ronald Reagan and he scared the bejeebers out of the sissy pants diplomats in the Congress and even in his own administration.

Don't get me wrong - this is not some misogynist rant. Margaret Thatcher, who passed away today, had more leadership testosterone in her little finger than President Obama has in his whole cabinet. Women have a place in leadership.  Golda Meier was a tremendous leader.  There are plenty of other examples out there, but the point I want to make is that the style of leadership involved in mothering is different from that involved in fathering and not good will come of putting a mother of whichever sex in the big chair. There is a reason God set up families with male leadership.  The system works well. Dad's do well at driving the family agenda forward.  Mom does an amazing job of keeping the peace and soothing hurts and fixing boo-boo's. We need a government that leads like a father and governs like a mother.  Instead we have devolved into a nation that is led by Mom and governed by a cranky, paternalistic bureaucracy.

There is a reason God gave us fathers and mothers. The job of running a family, and - I maintain, a nation - requires both types of approaches.  They laughed at George Bush when he referred to himself as "The Decider", but he hit the nail on the head regarding what a president's job is. It is a matter of setting goals and achieving them. Such a task often requires upsetting people and even making them angry on occasion along the way to getting things accomplished that need accomplished. 

Lady Thatcher once said something to the effect that a nation that governs by consensus has no leadership.

The feminized diplomat worries about building consensus - making things fair and equal and preventing conflict.  When a hormonal North Korean Munchkin starts threatening to start a nuclear war, diplomats start waving their hands and running around squealing and in the process, may start pressing buttons in a panic.

Right now we need a steely-eyed, iron-nerved Ronald Reagan or Margaret Thatcher.  Captain Prissy-Pants is just not to be trusted in situations where he doesn't have a teleprompter to instruct him. If the Munchkin does set off a nuke, the current bunch of little girls that make up our nation's leadership is far more likely to do something incredibly stupid in a panic. 

Where's a "Decider" when we need one.

The Rich People We Hate Avoid a Tax Increase

Obama's Tax Raid on the Rich Only Impacts the Working Rich

Did anyone notice that the only "rich" people that got a tax increase were the working wealthy - the ones that actually draw a paycheck or make a profit.

The already rich, the hereditary rich and those who have already made their pile (all of whom heavily support President Obama) didn't get any kind of meaningful tax increase because capital gains only went up 5% and manipulating and hiding capital gains earnings is really the easiest kind of income to avoid paying taxes on when you have teams of tax accountants and lawyers.

So Warren Buffet didn't get a tax increase even though he asked for one.  George Soros didn't get a tax increase even though he asked for one. The Kennedys, the Rockefellers, the Chases, the Morgans and the Astors didn't get a tax increase.  Most of the rich people who supported President Obama's campaign heavily didn't get a tax increase.

Tragedy in Texas - White House Responds

Dateline: 10/19/2012 - The White House

Within minutes of the announcement that the beloved symbol of the Texas State Fair, "Big Tex" caught fire this morning and burned, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney released the following statement:

• Our hearts go out to the people of the great State of Texas. The president wants everyone to know that no effort will be spared to catch and punish the perpetrators of this outrage. Former president, Bill Clinton, has volunteered to lead a task force of FBI agents and several cute interns who  are looking into reports that notorious right wing terrorist, Glenn Beck has established a secret terrorist cell in the Dallas area thanks to the failed policies of George W. Bush.

The president was unavailable for comment say White House sources due to his not knowing about it, having skipped the morning security briefing to play golf with a Hungarian-American donor. Carney promises that the president will "give a damn" should the subject come up on one of the talk shows he's scheduled to appear on this coming week. 



Big Tex tragedy unfolds.

 Officials of the Texas State Fair have already issued a no-bid contract to Houston-based Halliburton for reconstruction of Big Tex. In a press release to Fox News, Halliburton CEO, Dave Lesar, promised to "Have him back up in a couple of days."

The new and improved "Big Tex" will be made largely of kevlar and concrete, according to Dallas architect/designer, "Ox" Buchanan, who, according to sources within the State Fair, volunteered his services to Fair officials even before the fire was fully extinguished.

Governor Rick Perry announced that he would send a Texas Ranger to Dallas to handle the investigation and shoot the "friggin' little Yankee perp". Minutes after the governor's announcement Chuck Norris called the governor and reportedly begged, "Oh, please let me....."
